You are the one I chose to love

Blue moon or two ago

They did not speak, the stars above

Though I knew it would be so;

Your eyes they came from far away

All stories told in just a day

So many said it could not be

Too soon they thought, a fantasy;

But my heart I knew could not be wrong

Our time as one, it would be long

And with my joy, I would not part

A life with you I wished to start;

Then many mountains we did climb

Some sorrow too, from time to time

But I would not change all things above

For it is you I chose to love;

And now the years have come and gone

Yet still I look and see beyond

A time when we will have to share

A life more grand and without care;
